Hungarian Chicken Paprikash

Ingredients

  • (3) Large Onions
  • (2 TBSP) Hungarian Paprika
  • Olive Oil
  • Black Pepper
  • Chicken-cut up into pieces
  • (3) Roma Tomatoes

Directions

  1. Slice tomatoes and chop onions.
  2. Sauté in olive oil until onions are transparent.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Once cooled, add paprika.
  5. Mix and cook on low for 30 seconds.
  6. Add chicken and enough water to cover.
  7. Add pepper and salt to taste.
  8. Simmer until chicken is done.
  9. Serve with dumplings, noodles, or rice.

*You can add sour cream after removing pan from heat.
