Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • (1 layer) Bread crumbs
  • (1/2 quart) Hamburger or sausage
  • (14) Eggs-beaten
  • (2 1/2 cups) Milk
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. Cook hamburger or sausage.
  2. Beat eggs.
  3. Place cooked hamburger or sausage in a loaf pan.
  4. Pour eggs over meat. 
  5. Mix 2 1/2 cups of milk, salt and pepper to taste and add to meat.
  6. Spread a layer of bread crumbs over meat. 
  7. Let stand overnight in the refrigerator. 
  8. Bake for an hour next morning. 
  9. Remove from oven and top with cheese.
