Budget friendly and extra flavorful, round steak perfect for weeknight dinners. 

Round steak is a large, flat steak cut from the rear leg of the steer. Because the round muscle is heavily used, this steak is full of rich beefy flavor and can be a bit tough if not cooked properly.

One way to make sure our pasture raised round steak shines is to marinate it then cook it hot and fast in a skillet or on the stove. Make sure to only cook the meat to medium rare to keep it tender. Slice the steak again the grain and serve with your favorite farm fresh veggies.

Alternately, cook round steak low and slow in a braise or stew. The lengthier cook time will make the meat nice and tender.

Either way you cook it, this cut is sure to become a part of your regular dinner rotation!
